With our modular energy storage system, we delivered a tailored solution for a glass processing company transitioning from gas-fired ovens to electric ovens. This shift resulted in a highly volatile energy profile with significant peak loads. As electric furnaces require large amounts of power in short periods, the facility faced challenges in staying within its contracted grid capacity.

By integrating our BESS alongside on-site solar PV, these peaks are effectively absorbed and managed, keeping the facility within its grid limits. The system stores excess solar energy during periods of low demand and discharges it during peak consumption, optimizing overall energy usage. This approach not only reduces peak demand charges but also improves the stability of the site’s power supply.

In addition, the solution minimizes dependency on the grid and enhances energy resilience during fluctuations. By avoiding the need for costly grid reinforcements, the customer significantly reduces both upfront investment and long-term operational costs. The system is fully scalable and can be adapted to future increases in energy demand or production capacity.

This enables the customer to operate fully electric without compromising on production capacity, efficiency, or reliability, while also contributing to a more sustainable and future-proof operation.
